Kathleen is a contemporary abstract artist working in watercolor, acrylic and mixed media. Her work is inspired by nature and expresses organic subjects inviting the viewer to see and be aware of the beauty around them. The work is based on unique texture techniques to describe the varied earth forms that are all around us.
Her art is created to help the viewer see and be aware of the electrifying beauty of nature but still create mystery.
She paints commissioned portraits of dogs and cats of all breeds.

Have you ever wished you were a kid again so that you could go to summer camp? Come study how to create Collage with acrylic paint in the beautiful San Bernardino National Forest. This is where you’ll learn dramatic techniques for making your own unique papers using color theory in acrylic paint. Have fun creating new and exciting abstract or more realistic images in collage. Master how to adapt collage into your own current work and how to use it as a tool for saving failed paintings of any medium. Sleep in a quaint cabin and enjoy wonderful food included in the fee.

In this workshop we will let loose and play!
You will learn how to use Composition and Design to plan a strong painting. We will use line, shape, color, value and texture to make your paintings exciting. Step by step instructions will be given for a no fail abstract with lots of WOW FACTOR.
