Kathleen is a contemporary abstract artist working in watercolor, acrylic and mixed media. Her work is inspired by nature and expresses organic subjects inviting the viewer to see and be aware of the beauty around them. The work is based on unique texture techniques to describe the varied earth forms that are all around us.
Her art is created to help the viewer see and be aware of the electrifying beauty of nature but still create mystery.
She paints commissioned portraits of dogs and cats of all breeds.

In this workshop we will let loose and play!
A one day workshop learning intuitive starts and how to finish them up into abstract pieces. You will also have the opportunity to develop a subject matter. Use various mixed media to create your own visual language. Composition and design will be addressed at each stage to develop a strong painting.
. We will use line, shape, color, value and texture to make your paintings exciting. Step by step instructions will be given for a no fail abstract with lots of WOW FACTOR.
